Many UAE product teams now split their QA between a local partner and an offshore team. Should you?
The right software testing company for a UAE business is the one that covers your regulator, your languages and your release pace, not the one with the nearest office. Shortlist on four things: Arabic and right-to-left testing, security testing that fits your regulator (Central Bank, DFSA or FSRA), working-hour overlap with your developers, and tests you keep when the contract ends. This guide compares the UAE market, a shortlist of providers, and how pricing and engagement models differ.
Astaqc and TestInspector.ai. Astaqc provides experienced QA talent to UAE clients from its head office in Mumbai, India, a short time difference from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. TestInspector.ai can create, run and monitor your tests without any human intervention: humans do the testing while the AI monitors the regressions. TestInspector.ai starts at USD 349.
A note on bias: Astaqc publishes this list and Astaqc is on it. We list ourselves first and apply the same criteria to our own offer as to everyone else's.
Software testing demand in the UAE comes from a few clear groups of buyers. Each group asks for something different from a QA partner.
Across all four, two testing needs are specific to the region and easy to underestimate.
Arabic and right-to-left (RTL) testing. Layouts must mirror correctly, icons with direction (arrows, progress bars) must flip, and mixed Arabic and English text must not break in forms, PDFs, emails or SMS. Number formats and dates need checks too, including any Hijri calendar display. A provider that only tests the English build will miss these.
Data protection. Onshore UAE has its own federal personal data law, and DIFC and ADGM each run their own data protection regimes. Your test data strategy has to respect whichever applies: masked or synthetic data in test environments, and clear rules about where test data is stored.
The shortlist below mixes specialist QA companies and larger engineering firms that serve UAE clients. It is not a ranking. Astaqc is listed first because we publish this page; the rest are in alphabetical order. Several of these firms deliver remotely into the UAE, so ask each one where your team will actually sit.
A QA consultancy with its head office in Mumbai, India, and the team behind TestInspector.ai. Astaqc covers manual, automation, performance and security testing, and can place QA engineers inside your team. Over a million QA hours delivered.
Fits: UAE teams that want an offshore QA team working most of the UAE day, with tests that stay in their own repository. Check: working-hour overlap for your release windows and the handover terms.
A dedicated software testing company offering automation, manual, performance and security testing. Check: whether they have run Arabic and RTL test cycles before.
An IT services company that completed its acquisition of quality engineering firm Cigniti Technologies in April 2026. Coforge lists an office in Dubai. Check: minimum engagement size and whether automation is delivered in open frameworks.
A QA and software testing company offering automation, manual and mobile testing. Check: CI/CD examples and how they staff overlap with Gulf working hours.
A US-headquartered IT consulting and software development company with a long-running testing practice. Check: whether testing is QA-led or bundled into a wider development engagement.
A QA and software testing company offering automation, performance and security testing. Check: which team members will work on your account and from where.
A managed crowdsourced testing company with a vetted global community of testers, often chosen for mobile apps and real-device testing across many countries. Check: how test results are triaged before they reach your developers.

Most buyers search for a UAE testing company and then find that the market splits by emirate. The split matters less for the testing itself and more for the buyers each emirate attracts.
| Factor | Dubai | Abu Dhabi |
|---|---|---|
| Typical buyers | Fintechs in DIFC, e-commerce, travel, media, regional headquarters | Government entities, energy, financial firms in ADGM, startups in Hub71 |
| Common testing focus | Mobile apps, payment flows, performance for sale and travel peaks | Security testing, accessibility, bilingual government services, integration testing |
| Financial regulator to plan for | DFSA inside DIFC; Central Bank of the UAE onshore | FSRA inside ADGM; Central Bank of the UAE onshore |
| Delivery model you will see | Local teams, regional offices of global firms, offshore partners | Same mix, with more procurement through formal tenders |
A good provider can serve either emirate. What changes is the paperwork: government and ADGM work tends to come with formal tenders, security questionnaires and data residency questions. Ask early whether your provider has handled that process before.
If your search is city-specific, the Dubai list and the Abu Dhabi list go deeper on each market.
UAE fintechs and digital banks ask one question more than any other: who can run penetration testing on our web apps, mobile apps and APIs, and give us a report our regulator and our bank partners will accept?
A complete security testing scope for a UAE fintech usually covers:
Ask every provider three things before you sign: who signs the report, whether the testers are employees or subcontractors, and whether retesting is included in the price. If your regulator or a partner bank sets specific requirements for testers or report format, share them on the first call.
Our post on AI-assisted penetration testing in DevSecOps explains where automated security agents help and where a human tester is still required. For transaction reliability, functional testing of payments sits alongside security testing, not instead of it.
UAE buyers usually choose between three ways of working. The model affects cost more than the provider's name does.
| Model | How it works | Best for | Watch for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Onshore team in the UAE | Testers work from a UAE office, often on your site | Government work, on-site access needs, strict data residency | Higher cost per hour; smaller talent pool for niche skills |
| Offshore team | Testers work from India or elsewhere, remotely | Product teams that need a steady QA capacity at lower cost | Hour overlap, access to test environments, data handling |
| Hybrid | A local lead plus an offshore delivery team | Larger programmes that need both on-site presence and scale | Clear ownership of who reports to whom |
Time zones work in the offshore model's favour here. The UAE is UTC+4 and India is UTC+5:30, so India runs 1 hour 30 minutes ahead. Astaqc's hours of 9am to 6pm IST fall at 7:30am to 4:30pm UAE time, which covers most of the UAE working day. The UAE moved to a Monday to Friday working week in 2022, so the working weeks line up as well.
What drives price in any model: the number of platforms (web, iOS, Android), whether you need Arabic and English test cycles, security testing scope, how often you release, and how much of the regression suite is automated. Quotes only compare fairly when they cover the same scope.
Our software testing cost and pricing guide explains the pricing models in detail, and the guide to outsourcing software testing covers contracts and handover.
Use this short process to go from a long list to a signed partner.
Astaqc's software testing services cover web, mobile, API, performance and security testing, and our hire a QA team option places engineers inside your sprint.
There is no single best company; the right one matches your regulator, languages, platforms and budget. Shortlist providers that can show Arabic and RTL testing, security testing reports your regulator accepts, good overlap with your working hours, and tests you keep at the end of the contract.
Specialist security testing firms and QA companies with security practices both offer it. Ask who signs the report, whether testers are employees, whether retesting is included, and whether the report format meets your regulator's or partner bank's requirements.
The testing work is the same, but the buyers differ. Dubai has more fintech, e-commerce and travel work, while Abu Dhabi has more government, energy and ADGM-regulated work, which often comes through formal tenders and stricter security questionnaires.
Cost depends on the delivery model, the number of platforms, bilingual test cycles, security scope and release frequency. Onshore UAE teams usually cost more per hour than offshore teams, and a hybrid model sits between the two.
If you are comparing testing partners for a UAE product, we can review your scope, including Arabic and RTL coverage and security testing, and propose a short paid pilot.
Astaqc's head office is in Mumbai, India. Email contact@astaqc.com or call or WhatsApp +91 98921 33545, 9am to 6pm IST, or use the contact form.
If you want automated regression coverage without building a framework, see TestInspector.ai. TestInspector.ai starts at USD 349.
