Job Title: Inside Sales Executive – Software Testing & QA Services

Job Summary
Astaqc is a software testing and QA outsourcing company operating across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. We are hiring an Inside Sales Executive to build and convert a pipeline of B2B prospects for our testing services — covering functional testing, test automation, performance testing, and AI-powered QA solutions. This is a target-driven role with full ownership of the sales cycle from cold outreach to signed agreement.
Responsibilities
Prospecting & Outreach
- Research and identify target accounts in technology, fintech, e-commerce, and enterprise software sectors with active QA or testing needs.
- Execute outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, email sequences, and cold calls using structured, persona-driven messaging.
- Build and manage a qualified prospect database using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent).
- Use tools such as Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo for lead identification and enrichment.
Pipeline & Deal Management
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads using BANT or MEDDIC frameworks.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect pain points around testing coverage, automation maturity, and release velocity.
- Deliver compelling service presentations and demos in collaboration with the technical team.
- Manage proposals, follow-ups, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data, activity logs, and forecasts in CRM.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the delivery and pre-sales team to scope and price engagements accurately.
- Provide market feedback to leadership on objection patterns, competitor positioning, and prospect needs.
- Coordinate with marketing on inbound lead quality and campaign targeting.
Requirements
- 2–5 years in B2B inside sales, ideally selling IT services, software testing, QA outsourcing, or technical consulting.
- Proven track record: candidates must bring quota attainment history, deal sizes, and a sample of past pipeline or closed deals to the interview. Unverifiable experience will not be considered.
- Strong outbound skills — comfortable with high-volume prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and phone.
- Proficiency with at least one CRM platform (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to understand and articulate technical service offerings without a deep technical background.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience selling software testing, QA automation, or managed QA services.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and common QA terminology.
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Apollo.io for prospecting.
- Demonstrated use of email sequencing tools (Outreach, Salesloft, Instantly, or similar).
- Experience handling international clients (US, UK, UAE markets preferred).
Interview Process Note
Candidates must bring evidence of their sales work to the interview: a pipeline report, quota attainment sheet, or deal history summary (client names can be redacted). A short roleplay — qualifying a cold lead and delivering a service pitch — will be part of the process.
Location: Mumbai. On-site required for the first 6 months.
